I refuse to call parents for bad behavior issues. I use email only, because I want a “paper” trail, and I want the chance to proofread carefully what I am communicating so that I am clear and not overly emotional. I have colleagues who will stop whatever they are doing in class to call Home.
Good for them.
I will never do this.
